Turbo Humming

Hi
i get a humming noise from my turbo in the morning and only when cold. After everything warms up all is fine. Anybody else notice this.
By the way its a 1998 300TD E Class with 82k

Sounds ominous, my Turbo is conspicuous by the lack of noise it makes, even on heavy load you don't hear it. There are Turbo specialists who do exchange units, it is probably worth investigating that route if the Turbo unit gets noisier.
