Hi Folks,my 88 300se saloon is doing great with its lpg conversion or three years. I got the garage to reduce the gap in the plugs and this reduced the chugging. However recently especially when the weather is wet or humid she wont start or sound as if she is not firing onall cylinders. when I drop the excelleration she faulers then dies.
Could this the HT leads or timing?
If I have LPG will I need different HT leads to an engine just using petrol
Thanks a llot
Peter

There was quite a long discussion on LPG in a thread started by Oxmerc recently in the engine section, have a look at it ,hopefully it may be of some help.

I had a couple of stalls after I got my car and a hard start when wet, then an impossible to start one. Turned out it needed a new distributor.

I think you'll need either new plugs, ignition leads or a new distributor.

Only other thing I could think it could be OVP relay on way out = hard starts, stalls, rough idle and erratic ABS light.
