Not if what d_w124 says is correct about the compression ratio.but you do need more skill than I have as well
I think on the 103 you can just bang them on,without lowering the ratio

its a farily low compression system as it stands and you can adjust the fuel octane setting but will not get the full potential of the system without lowering the compression ratio.

yes it will fit the 3 litre engine in the w124's, the w107, the w126 and also the 2.6 litre engine fitted to the 190 series cars
