I checked the MOT. Hole/Corroded exhaust, seems to have been neglected. Slight weep/leak from steering ram.

Anybody know how much those wheels would be worth (if genuine) They look like 600 rims of yesteryear?

Is it just me or does the 129 look generally rough?

I wouldn't call the 129 rough - it just looks like a car that's been used and gas a few age related scars as a result.

The Alphard is a very rare and sought after wheel, I saw a set go on E-Bay for £1200, makes the car really cheap

By scrap he means strip and sell parts.

The 500 looks to be an nice honest car. Interior needs a good cleanup!

Exhausts for 500s are expensive, circa 6k complete from mb and not available after market so your choices will be limited to good used (also expensive) or bespoke stainless exhaust, or repairing it bit by bit until it falls off.

You can get aftermarket front section from manifold to center box for the 500 - I had one fitted last year. Wasn't expensive either.

True but the back boxes and center section js what rots first.

I'd just get a custom stainless one. Less than £1k end to end.
