hello all advice needed re run flat tyres mine are michelin pilot alpin 245/40r/19 puncture light came on checked tyres front right low topped up twice still running low although slowly can the puncture be repaired or is it a new tyre (only 5 month old)! display show this(see photo) is this normal or is it possibly not a puncture but a faulty sensor or both ? tia really appreciate this group great advice all the time

New tyre but could be cracked wheel, might be worth checking..

Unlikely to be sensor fault in my experience.

Depends where the puncture is, if close to edge not repairable unfortunately

You need to get the wheel and tyre taken off the car and tested in water to see where the leak is

I'd get rid of the run flats and buy some decent tyres for all 4 wheels.
Run flats are horrid.

Could it be a cracked alloy or even an just an unseated tyre following an attack of the potholes?

Do you have to reset after topping up the ail.
Never had the sensors myself.

A tyre sensor may not give an accurate reading, but it will be consistent in its error.
Only an inspection will determine where the puncture is and thus what steps to take.
Sadly fate is not a witness to time and a puncture can occur at anytime - I've picked up a nail in a tyre within 20 minutes and 4 miles of having it fitted (tyre fitted, visit petrol station, home, park up for the night, tyre flat in the morning.)
