Unable to disarm anti-theft/car does not start - Anti-theft

I need your help, please.  My anti-theft system remains on after I lock and unlock (arm or disarm) the front door using the key.  It seems that it would not reset.  The alarm constantly turns on after the door is opened by using the key.  I have a '93 400SEL.  I would appreciate all responsive comments.  Thank you in advance.

I have had the same problem with my 2002 Ml270.

Problem was traced to part failure of the all activity module, where the remote unlocking, was not breaking the immobilizer.

Some times would reset time 1, but often took up to six attempts.

I suspect you have a similiar problem, and may need the help of a stealership.

If the alarm system is a Scorpion. Then have it removed and get a more up to date alarm. If its the original MB system. Then it will require MB or specialist to take a look.
