I had a 520 for 2 years and couldn’t get on with the seats, also a VW CC, bolsters presses against my legs too muchSorry to hear this OP it does take the shine off a vehicle. Last encounter with a seat that just didn’t Support me properly was when my son and I road tested a new 5 series m sport saloon last year, everything was fine for the first half hour but by the time we had been travelling in the car for an hour we were both in agony. In all fairness the BMW dealer did allow us to take the car for a morning which was just as well but unfortunately that one fact lost them the sale which was a shame because the vehicle in all other respects was very good, in contrast the W213 E class seats are excellent. As I recall it was something to do with the seat base bolsters squashing my thighs and nothing could be adjusted to make the seat any better
