Hi all, hope someone can shed some light on why my C240 sport sits about an inch lower on the drivers front than the passenger side? The car has new springs and dampers (all original MB kit) and the problem persists.
Its had no crash repairs in its hsitory and the bushes all look OK to me.
any ideas?

Could be the dampers, if they are gas-pressure- might need a bit of "bedding in" otherwise the springs might have different spring constants (do they both have the same paint colour marking stripes?).

How many miles have you done since changing the suspension parts? Is the rear suspension level?

Hi Dave,

Make sure the dealers gave you the right spring as there is no such thing as a standards spring with MB. Saying that if it still sits the same as before then it can't be the springs. Although the springs are what determines the height and level of the vehicle. If you are sure that the springs and shockers are ok. Check with MB if the spring rubbers at the top can be increased. I must admit I have never had to check. But on the earlier 190's and 124's you can get differnt thickness spring rubbers which should get somewhere near the right ride hight.

Good luck
