Looking for someone in the North Wales/North West area to replace the original Command unit with a touchscreen unit (already sourced) on my 2002 SL55 AMG

I will be interested to know if you have any luck with this. I do know if you have Bose system that you may lose this part of the stereo amp.

Thanks for that, I was given an adaptor cable for the Bose amp (supposedly) It is a Taffi unit from Germany that I have to install

Hopefully someone will be able to help with your update. I do find the Mercedes units quite lacking compared to other makes.

After long last I had to do a 400 mile round trip down to these people.
Audiofile Incar
The Barracks, Silver Leys, Hadham Rd, Bishop's Stortford
They were excellent and fitted a Pioneer AVIC Z930 DAB unit which does everything and maintains the steering wheel controls. First class company,

Thanks Mark, unfortunately I didn't come across this company when I was looking, if I had I would have saved a few shillings. Can't fault what I have even if expensive
