Probably a very basic question - but here goes. What is the best way to clean the cloth seat upholstery and carpets ?- besides having it done by a valet firm. Any particular shampoos / cleaners to use?

Seen examples of good results from autoglym products, can't remember the exact name, maybe upholstery shampoo, they also do a specific stain remover and foaming spray though I don't know how well these work.

I keep a cheapie Carsoft foam cleaner with brushes built into the lid handy in my car to get rid of any marks or spills as soon as I notice them (mushroom interior), works okay and seems to be on sale everywhere (tescos, halfords etc.). For a proper clean I'd use the autoglym.

Autoglym are good. And Merc do their own cleaners: good too.

Anyone know the best way to get chocolate (been sat on) off cloth seats, please?

Once took the covers off a car and machine washed them on cold setting, came out lovely.
