R170 SLK200 2002
Hi

Anyone out there got any suggestions for a more responsive, tighter turn-in that I require for my SLK 200 (2002). I've come from BM's where the front end is more responsive and less wallowy.

I have Continental tyres on 15 inch Merc Chrome rims (at the front).

I assume up-rated bushes and anti-roll bar would do the trick?

Thanks

I would check shocks first, then a full suspension alignement b4 changing bushes and roll bars

I'd do it the other way round. The car not turning in is a function of geometry and stiffness, rather than damping

You might be able to adjust the geometry a bit to make it a bit more eager but I doubt it'll do what you want

I suspect everything on the car, from ARB and tyrewall stiffness to steering speed, is designed to not give a sharp turn-in

Have a drive of an AMG and see if it's a bit closer to what you want - if it is the parts are all available
