Urgent Help Needed!!!!

Hello,

I woulsd be grateful if someone can help with this problem...

we have a merc c180 97 p reg clocked 81,000 miles...
Everything was ok but had a few problems which thanks to this forum were easily solved,but another problem has arisen..
Ok when the car is cold it is perfect,but then gradually when it heats up it begins to be slugish as it is being restricted in some way.
The only way to explain it is as if your driving with the hand break on,the rev meter overdoes it self and the car has only moved a few yards..
Also noticed the radio cass was hot ,the heater fan blow extremly hot even on cold.I dont know what the hell is going on...can someone shed a lot of light on this!!!

Its already been checked on the dianostic thing
maf ,sparkplug ,thermostat,oil filter,oil,and anything else you can think of has all been changed.:sad:

Hot/cold air intake flap stuck on the "hot" side - so engine is drawing in hot air off the exhaust? Hot air is useful when the engine is cold, but no good then warmed up as it's much less dense so less oxygen to burn.

Having said that I had a look a the russian site and couldn't see such a flap for a 202 C180!
