Urgent w124 wheel advice please!!

I have found a set of 17" AMG replica wheels and need to know whether they would fit my late '93 E280 estate. I know there's been various threads on this in the past but am still a little uncertain...
The wheels are from a C class, 17", 7.5J width, with 215/45 V (speed rating) tyres with an ET number of 35.? Doesn't mean much to me - can anyone help??
Thanks a lot.

Ric, if you have the handbook fot your car, it gives the ET number in the Specs at the back of the book, if you do not have it, come back.

NOPE so bid away :D but i am looking for a set of standard genuine MB SL wheels for the winter found quite a few on ebay

That's what I did, and they were made for the new one, did you see the pictures of the 129 with the 230 wheels, I though it was ok, the bolts are the biggest problem though with those, any SL wheels sprayed silver would do

nope did not see that picture can you supply a link please - there are a few eight hole MB SL wheels on ebay at the moment and plenty of others that would fit too i think i need ET 34 BUT totally kunfoosed as i went onto http://www.alloywheelsdirect.net and looking at http://www.alloywheelsdirect.net/mercedes_alloy_wheels/sl_class_r129_alloys/18_amg_i_2pc_wheel_191 they list ET of 25 yet http://www.alloywheelsdirect.net/me...lass_r129_alloys/17_homan_used_wheel_tyres_80 list an ET of 35 AND http://www.alloywheelsdirect.net/me...lass_r129_alloys/17_twin_spoke_used_wheel_115 list 28 AND 18  Also i am looking for five as i still dont have a spare - so for the summer i would put on the present wheels and just leave the std MB SL wheel in the boot - i dont have a problem with no spare just have a bottle of tyre sealant in the boot and a electric pump - this is wash out stuff not the fix a flat goo but it is not recommended for the ultra low profile tyres i have - from memory they are 35 and 30 section just big black rubber bands really :D - http://forums.mercedesclub.org.uk/attachment.php?attachmentid=1334&d=1146753189 - seem strange as the local MB stealer is promoting another brand of tyre sealant and they said it was OK for ulta low profile tyres - pretty sure it is just the same stuff - i tried my brand in the Volvo which has 45 section tyres before the engine went PHUT/plop/BANG and it was ok - took a while 3/5 miles dependent on speed to distribute round the tyre if the car had been sitting for a few days the first five miles were a bit lumpy vibro seats at no extra charge but after that everything was fine right upto about 120 - of course i may just have had too much goo in there. Back to the Merc my partner is a bit concerned about driving without a spare and i have 'instructions' to get one soon

pics of wheels i am looking at on ebay
