I'm uncertain I fitted belt correctly. Looks ok, and nice and tight from tensioner. But every drawing or diagram etc I look at to confirm is correct, looks different.

If I new correct direction of crank or comp or steering pump etc. rotated I could work it out. Afraid of causing damage when I turn it over.

Any actual pics 1.8 271 engine.

many thanks

Thanks, but pretty certain no.
Did look before. Cant remember off top of me head but something missing or wasn't correct. I have tried the belt in this and one other method. But both different again to a pic in the Hayns manual and belt wouldn't quite fit. Even now its on and very tight but at least tensioner seems right. Would just like to be sure.
Thats why I hoped an actual pic would be useful and decisive.
