Hi all. New to the forum and hope someone might be able to help. I have a 2017 V250. I had a puncture a few days ago and eventually managed to find out the procedure for accessing the spare wheel. However, I have tried seve3ral times to return the jack and other wheel-removal-equipment to the side panel and am at a loss! I know it is the simplest thing in the world but it is all molded foam and no matter which way I try and turn it I can't figure out how the jack fits back in! I was too stressed when changing wheel to think about taking note!

What would be super helpful is if another V-Class owner could flip off the cover in their boot and take a wee photo that would show how the jack is supposed to be mounted in there?

Many thanks in advance, Stuart

Mine seems to just slide in when it’s flat, above the bit where the rail moving tool lives.
I shall take a picture or two in the morning as it is pretty dark outside here atm.

Many thanks Wearafoxhat! I managed eventually to get it in after trawling through dozens of pages on line - it turns out it just has to go a lot forther forward into the body of the car than I could imagene!

Yes it does go in along way. Not really held in, just laid along the shelf thingy above and to the front of the moulded stuff. So technical tonight.

I felt like I’d accomplished some great puzzle when I managed to fit it all together!

Not that you need a picture now, more for the benefit of those reading this thread.
