I changed the radiator on my C32 last year on a precautionary basis, since the date label on it put it within the faulty timeframe. The replacement rad supplied by Mercedes had a changed part number and a very recent date code, but was still manufactured by Valeo. I fitted the rad and thought nothing of it. I have not had any problems since, but have heard from several american sources that I should have fitted a rad manufactured by Behr. Can anyone throw any light on this?

Thanks in advance.

Modified rads from Valeo have a white circle spot on the oil cooler. there is no known problems with them.

Thanks Malc, you have put my mind at rest. I have not seen a UK 203 with a Behr rad fitted yet...

Sadly, most of the parts I have replaced on my C32 have a Valeo label alongside 'made in France'

LOL
