Does anyone have an idea as to the value of my wifes 1996 W124 E36 AMG estate.
She has 182000k with history.
She is silver in colour with Black leather interior .
Condition is reasonable for mileage / year.
I understand this model is fairly rare.
If anyone has any ideas let me know.
Thanks in advance.
Reason for selling.
I am now retired and the budget wont strectch that far to the gas station that many times a week.
Thanks in advance
Bob

Hi Bob, that is certainly a rare car! I know Merc engines are known for their longevity, but 182 million miles is impressive! :)

However two things jump out at me from your description; 1) In my experience 'reasonable condition for year' means 'crap condition', and 2) you say 'with history', now if I was looking for a car such as this, I would want it to have been METICULOUSLY maintained, has it?

Not trying to have a go mate, just my tuppence worth!

With all W124 estates the value is dictated by condition, history, spec and milage. Hairpin have one for sale at £10k and it should be very, very sharp. So as a private seller I'd say you're looking at somewhere between £2000 and £8000, depending on the factors given above

To decide where it should sit in that price range you'd have to look at other E36 estates and at the condition of the car
