help needed please. bearing failed on pulley wheel.Question 1. can pulley wheels be fitted in location or does the engine have to be dropped down to obtain access it is a diesel 1.7 vaneo. Q.2 does anyone know a good cheap independant merc garage scotland.MB milton glasgow want £91 plus vat per hour.wont quote up front.

I've done A class which are similar. The lowest pulley can be changed in situ but if it's one of the higher ones, the back part of the engine/crossmember must be dropped to get at it. The tensioner assembly comes with 3 pulleys but again, drop rear to fit.
