Vario roof SLK 200

Hi
I’ve an SLK 200 R171 (2005) model
The roof has stopped working I’ve tried the usual suspects like fuses, no luck, my drivers window doesn’t drop and door mirrors don’t fold, in my humble opinion could it be the door control module???
Any suggestions or advice would be very welcome

Probably won’t help , but if the windows are lowered manually and/or the doors are left open does the roof work ? does your car have the facility to lower the roof from the key fob ?

Do you get any message or display on the dash when you operate the switch?

Door control module is mentioned in the R171 diag tree for the roof but mentions it should not be replaced for the issue you mention- page 28

Yes I thought I saw somewhere that it wasn’t to be replaced,
