If I ever Get another Diesel I will definatley re-join the Vege Burners.............



One thing that has always concerned me is

Are cars fitted with Diesel Exhuast Catylists ok to burn Vege oil....
My Renualt Laguna had one  , I used Vege oil any way , I wonder if I did it any harm....??

I know cats dont tend to like anything other than the fuel they were designed for...needs to be looked into before an expensive bill arrives on the doormat!!

No wind up, only downside is slightly unfamiliar whif from the tail end when idling , reminded my kids of macdonalds.

It'll end up costing you a fortune in Mc'donnalds instead of diesel............................
Still its cheap fuel.
I am realy feeling the pinch since I've gone back to petrol ..... Although I like having some power under my right foot.

The only alternative to petrol is Gas and most people on this forum Don't seem to rate the conversions much at all.

Pity realy as I petrol station with a Gas 'pump' realy close by.

I used to run my renault on ASDA Smart Price Vege oil ~ 22p a litre , cheap motoring.
I also used to use filtered waste oil from a local chipie
