Viano BAS/ESP warning Light

Good Evening All,

So I think I have been a bit gun hoe in replacing my leaking steering rack on my 2005 Viano,

I didn't lock the steering wheel in place and very much think i have turned it at least once when trying to the UJ back on.

I am now getting the BAS/ESP warning on, I haven't had it tracked yet so not sure if this will sort the issue or if it is the steering angle sensor at fault.

If we think it is the steering angle sensor, if I remove the UJ and spin the wheel back would this fix or is the sensor knackered now?
