I'm interested in opinions on this.
When I start from cold and drive even with very little throttle the engine will rev, up to 3k.
In Buxton it's not possible to leave the town without going up hill, and more often my 1st mile or so is up a steep hill.
I try to keep it gentle as in the 30 I'll be doing 20, then a little later in the 40 I'll be doing 32, accelerating slower than a push bike the revs are high. If some one comes up behind I can't keep them down to my restricted speed so up with the revs to get more speed, still slow though.
I hate the idea of the engine revving so high on a cold engine even if it does have full synth oil.
I know there is supposed to be a faster warm up due to cats and DPF but flippin' 'eck.
Yesterday at coolant temp 35 C it started to behave by running at lower revs, today it was at 32 C.
On Torque there are no fault codes.
Do others experience the same or should I be looking for a fault?
