can anyone help diagnose my problem,,,i have a c180 elegance 1995, when i reach 40mph i can feel a bad vibration throughout the car, all tyres are new and balanced any help please

What happens as you accelerate? Does it get worse or better or stay the same?

This sounds like in correctly balanced tyres, some firms are useless when it comes to balancing
I would go back and complain if the car was fine before you had the new tyres

That was what I was thinking - it seems 'all tyres are new and balanced' might have coincided with the arrival of the vibration.

Most tyre places are rubbish at balancing tyres - have you watched them doing it? I've seen more care put into screwing up a newspaper before binning it!!

aye dont presume they were balanced properly , my car had a new tyre on the rear right and theres a vibration at 70+ mph , either the weights come off or it wasnt done properly :/

sorry guys maybe not explained properly, i am a woman lol. vibration was there before new tyres and generally gets worse the more speed. so all tyres are new and well balanced, any other explanations, the car doesnt rattle around, just a heavy sounding vibration, ????

There are a few things:

Propshaft.

Prop coupling.

Bent rim.
