I am trying to get a build date for my Van, I am hoping that it is a 1982 as the first registration is 25/4/83, so very likely built in 82.
My Vin code does not have the usual WDB number in front of it and even if I do put it in front, it has not been recognised. So far I have tried that Russian site for Vin codes and a Mercedes Commercial spares company, just to see if it came up with any info, neither of which did.
Any other suggestions for where I could try before I send off the details to DVLA for registration please?

Was this for sale on i saw for sale on Ebay?
You use to be able to get the info from MBEpc.net but is appears to be blocked.
You could try the Your local commercial Mercedes dealer.
Is the chassis number stamped into the body work of the footwell?

Thanks, I have the Vin plate and I have tried both the commercial MB and passenger car dealers, MB Guildford was the most helpful but he couldn’t pull up much info from the German site. I have also tried the Russian site that decodes your Vin
