Please can you do one for me, just want to get details on my birthday present WMX1973771A000802
Please could you try this one
Why not use this that AMGeed posted for us. It works!!!
I got it yes thank you!
If I could get one more VIN that would be awesome: YT63 EAF ...I've actually bought this car, though haven't picked it up yet, so it is the last one I promise!
I'll do this one, but any non Mercedes in future can get the Vin from the appropriate forum.
Hugely appreciated, thanks
I'm trying to figure out if my car came with an alarm system from factory. Would you be able to tell from the VIN.
You can do it yourself using this link that AMGeed kindly put up for us
Is this datamb site active because it keeps timing out for me. I was given my VIN number for the W177 last week, but all other sites say the VIN isn't recognised.
^ The site is still working fine for me. Quite often these sites can't decode a vehicle if its "too" recent. It takes a while for the databases to be updated.
Have you tried the other MB dedicated decoder from MB World?
How strange...it doesn't work for me on my phone, work internet or home internet. Either way, tried that other site and it said it wasn't a valid VIN. I guess it's just too new
If you bought new from the dealer they should have the Oasis report which should give all options fitted at manufacture.
It's more so that I bought the new A class here in the UK. The factory confirmation had all the options, but the one I'm mainly concerned with is the multi-link rear axle. The factory conf listed it, but everywhere you read they say only the A250 gets it and the lower spec engines get torsion beam. Even the latest brochure lists the smaller engines as only having torsion beam so not sure what I'll get. Regardless of what's written on the spec sheet, how would I even confirm what suspension set up I have?
Yeah, I`m the same.
Edit: Maybe as it`s an American forum/tool, it won`t recognise UK VINs?
The last 2 posters could try the phone apps to see if they are updated quicker than the web form. Although we are in the information age not everything is instant innit. The old adage of rubbish in = rubbish out can be 21st centuryfied to not yet input = not yet available to output innit:
There is an Android app that Lost Kiwi kindly put up for us
MB Vin Decoder
And There is also an iOS app kindly put up for us by Srdl
VIN decoder for Mercedes Benz
I can confirm that the android app does indeed work
Tried the app just now and not on there. Guess it's just taking it's time. I've been given a reg plate too which doesn't seem to be on DVLA but I guess they don't register it till it arrives. I would have thought it wouldn't be too much longer if they've assigned a reg plate
Yeah, maybe just taking it`s time to appear.
My car was registered 11/7/18 and is on it.
