Hi everyone.

Can anyone tell me where the pollen filter is and how to replace it?
I found some threads but they mentioned a glove compartment. But I dont have one. Its just two shelves where the glove box should be.It also cant be removed,i think its glued. Any way to access it? Should I just rip out the box and glue it back again?

Any one got pictures? I can get some pics if there is any one who can help

Many thanks

the pollen filter is underneath the centre of the dashboard (just above floor level). If you reach up under the light grey trim you will feel a thick bar running across the centre of the cab, just behind this is a black box with a slide out clip, it's very fragile and may break. The pollen filter can then be felt through the gap and you may be able to remove it by yanking it out. To put a new one in will mean removing the thick bar, it unbolts from the pedal end but it is not a nice job.

Real tough job!!

Tks for the info, my vehicle is a right hand drive and the fan motor is on the left. I've tried to find the part you mentioned but still can't find it. tried to trace the ducting from the fan to the center vent but no luck.
Maybe mine doesnt have a filter? If that is the case, can anyone tell me why the air flow is so poor?

Sorry, forgot to mention you have to remove the centre heater duct, (from under the ashtray, two small clips one each side), then you will be able to reach up underneath and find the filter housing. After removing my filter the air flow was dramatically improved, now it clears the windscreen in the mornings.

02 vito pollen filter. lack of air from vents

lack of air coming out of vents = blocked pollen filter.
just done mine too (thanks for the tips)

thought i would break it down step by step.

first remove the centre console that connects the dash to the floor (box shape) by unscrewing the two 10mm plastic bolts either side of the console. now look up inside the dash, you will see two metal rods, and a big black box. at the back of this box (nearest the engine) is the pollen filter cover.its only a thin strip of plastic. mine was about 12inch long and had this type of pattern on it [X[X[X[X[X[. the pollen filter is under this cover. it slides towards the passenger door (right hand drive van) about two to three inch. it should pull/drop then off. i had to hit it to make it slide with the hook end of a small crow bar between the two metal rods. i then put a long flat screw driver into the corner of the plastic base of the filter and prised it out a bit. then i pulled out the filter. (it broke as it came out). its quite fiddly to get it out though. takes a bit of time. make sure when your pulling it out to move the thin grey wire that runs near it.....
hope this is helps..
