Fuel quantity valve (located next to HP pump) malfunction is quite common... but it can be also leak (especially when you are clearly using some non MB code reader) somewhere and valve just can't follow set value. In SDS there is a specific test for FQV...

Thank you for your reply very much appreciated is the FQV located on the rail or front or back of the engine I was going to replace the pcv on the rail or do you not think that would be the issue I’ve took it for another spin today and got another code I also put it on a live data I’ll try an put a video up 565A1B5E-21EB-4A06-AA1E-60E9E12F5845.jpeg

hmm.. live data shows problem in rail pressure control valve, it can go also bad sometimes, but FQV is far more common to fail.
FQV is locate (like I said) next to hp pump, pressure control valve is back of the rail. SDS could test them both, now you have to play parts darts, I think you must rely on your reader and change pressure control valve first.

Just update I changed the FQV and and the rail pressure control valve problem has now gone only thing I’m noticing is a lack of power in all gears apart from first feels like it’s holding back any ideas ?
thank you

Sender pump won't cause gauge jumping, sensor will. But most likely it's wiring problem. Does it revs over 3000? Double check everything wich were loose is at place now. Have you check live data, anything odd there?
