Please help, my '98 petrol engined Vito 113 will not start when cranked over with the key, it turns over but refuses to fire. When towed and bumped it starts and drives perfectly apart from the battery light not going out fully.
I have had a new ECU, plugs, leads, battery and starter motor fitted plus a diagnostic test by MB shows no faults. The van has I have learnt been fitted in the past with a tracker and alarm but these were removed by a previous owner.

many thanks,

Lee

Welcome to both of you. :D one for Lee, :D and one for deeperblue

Yes as deeperblue,,if the alternator no charge lamp is on, it cannot be charging, though this would not stop it from starting, the battery sounds to be far too low for it to start from it
