Hi, New here & first time owner of a Mercedes Vito 639.
Done a 200 mile round trip on the weekend & noticed a squeek noise when pressing/depressing clutch. Clutch feels & works fine with no slippage & van drives perfectly. But seems the squeeking is heard when changing gear. In reverse it sounds like metal grating metal. Taken it to a clutch gearbox specialist this morning as I thought it was the clutch & he had a drive. Firstly he thought it was the fork, but in idle he couldn't hear anything. Guy in the opposite garage suggested it could be the prop shaft. Anyway back to the garage tomorrow to get it up on the ramp to have a good look underneath. If anyone experienced similar I'd appreciate your view. Many thanks.
