vito conversion to camper

I have a vito 1999 model..have converted back end into bed etc but want to make the front seats into two single swivel seats...I got hold of two Renault espace swivel seats and one fits on the driver side perfect..but when I removed the double seat I found the battery etc...plus the base is a lot higher...would I be able to put a driver side base on?...has anyone converted their vito?...any advise would be welcome

do be sure that you can get it insured as a camper first before going too deeply into this. DIY conversions are becoming increasingly difficult to insure due to not having had the appropriate type approvals and safety checks a professional converter has to do.
