I would be extremely grateful for any advice on a recurring problem I am having my Vito.

The engine runs fine when cold, but after 20-30 minutes goes into limp mode.

I have had the car to a local garage (not MB specialist) and they have given me a fault code of P0110 and advised me this was the intake air temperature sensor circuit. I appreciate that this is not an MB fault code.

I have read through various other posts trying to figure out where my problem might lie and many make reference to the MAF. Would a fault with the MAF give a fault code similar to this and cause similar running problems? Or is it as simple as replacing the temperature sensor? (doubt it, I'm not that lucky)

Mine is a 638 Vito engine and the engine code starts 611980

Thanks in advance for any help

This code came up on star diagnostics for me on my vito.
Majorly necro'd thread here but trying to find what the fault means without just asking!
Where can I find a list of star error codes and what COULD cause them? Have 6 codes on mine after having it checked today.
