Hi, looking for advice.
Have a Vito van 108 CDi, W plate.
About 2 weeks ago engine loosing power slightly as though a problem with fuel getting through. Changed the fuel filter thinking this would solve problem.
Same as before, thought possibly rubbish in tank, cleared line through to tank, still same as before. All round scratching of heads and fuel pump mutterings ensued. Van still drove so decided to try getting more advice.
Next day van went into limp mode ECD & glow light came on also stereo packed in.
Went to Merc garage to do a diagnostic test, they said ECD wasn't giving any readings and would need "more" time to investigate. Could not give any indication on how long this might be so I declined this open ended option and am trying here for help and advice.
Any suggestions/info greatly appreciated.
