My partner and I have just bought a '74 W115 200D with crash damage on the front right.
We bought the car to enter in the Plymouth-Banjoul (The Gambia) Challenge - at the end of the trip (in west Africa) the car is auctioned off to raise money for local charities. We are also going to raise money for the Altzeimer's Society. We are paying for the car and all of our expenses for the trip - all money raised goes direct to the charity...
We are looking for a front right wing for the 'facelift' (post-'73) model W114 or W115, and also a headlight.
If anyone has a wing/headlight hanging about (the wing can be in any condition) and wants to do a good deed for the day and either give it to us or flog it cheap, we would be most grateful...
...even better would be an inner wing too... will collect/remove/wash the dishes if this is needed...
