Ok so I've got the W123 bug going on but I've also found the W115 ;)
I'm looking at a petrol 220 Auto but can't seem to find much written about them.
Has anyone got or driven one? The stacked headlights look amazing...

I have indeed owned a couple from that era, and I will be owning another! They feel about as modern as a 123 to drive, and in theory could be driven daily, although even when they were new the rust protection was bad, so it would probably take its toll, but as a weekend car, it would be a cheap-to-run classic, and you are right, they are gorgeous!
