W123/124 seats

The drivers seats knackered in my 1983 W123 300TD, does anyone know if the seats from a W124 estate would fit? Does anyone have a spare set of either? I'd idealy like MB-Tex or leather for preferance (surprise surpise!). I only need a drivers seat but I'd like a full set and even the 7 seat conversion would be nice.

So does anyone have any idea if a set of W124 estate seats will fit in a W123 estate. The ones I'm looking at are on Ebay and are finishing in a couple of days. I can't really afford to buy the seats (and travel to Wales!) only to find out they don't fit.

I hope you have more success than me. I have the same car, same year with worn drivers seat. If you find any surplus to your own requirement please let me know. My investigations seem to verify that W124 seats will not fit.
