W123 - 200T carb/lpg starting problem?
Hi folks,
I was wondering if anybody knows what I can do to remedy my starting problem. Although the engine starts and the revs rise as normal, they quickly fall again and the engine cuts out unless I keep my foot on the throttle and rev the engine. There is also very little power when the engine is cold. I can hardly pull away! However once the engine is warm -everything seems fine and power is O.K.
This occurs whether starting on gas or petrol - although it is marginally better on petrol. If the choke is coming off too early can this be fixed or do I need a new Carb?
Any advice greatly appreciated.
Thanks
