one of the rear windows has started to loose its oooomph, and struggles to reach if at all it's original position.
does this sound like a replacment motor or a mechanical fault to you guy's in the know?

if you think it is the motor would it be the same type of motor as in the passanger door, ( i have one of these that i could use.)

finally how painfull will it be to fix (very i suspect) thankyou!

I had about the same prob. with my power window on the drivers front door (MB 380SE -85), the motor did get power, but the window wasn´t moving. I had to remove the door panel, and unscrew some screws, and take out the motor to test it. It was the "gearbox" attatched to the motor, which had got stuck. I started turning the motor around by hand with a plier, and after that it started to work. I cleaned it up and filled it up with new grease, and it has runned smoothly since that. I also lubricated the guide rails for the window in the door (all the moving parts).
I´ll guess it´s the same thing for you, if the windows are going slow. I don´t know what type of motor, or how it´s fitted on a CE, but my guess it´s a mechanic thing. Try lubricating first, if it doesn´t help, it´s likely the electric motor.
Good luck!
