W123 arm rest removal more help needed

I am still trying to find out how to remove the front arm rest on my W123 !!

If anyone has carried out this procedure or can offer assistance I would be very gratefull as the arm rest has been damaged by the sun here in Cyprus and really needs removing to enable it to be re-upholstered.

Thanks for the pic's Malcolm but they dont help much as I can see the arm rest but not how it can be removed, retaining bolts etc..

Hi Malcolm .....yes thanks you did post it, but it is of little help as I do not have any idea how to remove the arm rest and pics dont really help as I can allready see thi thing but am unsure of how it should come off.

I do not want to force anything and cause any damage, so if you have carried out this procedure please let me know how its done or where the retainers are for the rest as I cannot see any way , either with the rest up or down to access anythig to remove it ?
