W123 brake dust

Hey guys,

having recently refurbed the bundts on my w123 coupe I’m getting a bit fed up of cleaning break dust off my shiny new wheels! I’ve seen suggestions that ceramic pads drastically reduce brake dust but can’t seem to find any online for a w123.

Any suggestions?

would a higher quality semi-metallic brake pad reduce brake dust?

We used to fit dust shields to inside of wheel. Back in the day.

They used to advertise those in What Car magazine BM and Mercedes of the era really used to suffer

Yes that’s what mb said, never had a problem with discs, wouldn’t recommend them for a track car or one that lives in the alps.

Got them on the 230 but they won't replaced with the same.

I’ve just found these available from the states that seem like they will work. Anyone able to confirm if these will fit a w123 coupe?
