w123 heater location

Does anybody know where the heater blower/box is on my 1979 w123, its not under thye drivers footwell as i,ve been under there for something else, on the american sites its under the passenger footwell, blows the fuse every few days so it needs to come out.

cleaned the fuse contacts with fine emery paper and still working a week on, everything crossed.

The fuses are well known to corrode, best to replace with modern fuses

hi mate, were would i get them from , i can get the plastic ones with the aluminium strip?.

I had mine off Ebay, but if your close to a dealers or boat yard. they do them also --ceramic and copper

these are plastic and i think aluminium , will try the dealer first as only 3 miles away.

Clean all the earth points you can find clean up the body and put a dab of grease on the area before replacing them .I start at the battery luggs first polish them and grease also before replacing them . All this will help in the long run ..
