Newbie here. Tried a search but not sure what to look for and couldn’t really find anything. So apologies if covered before.
I’m looking to figure out what below circled part does. Did a closer up and a further away picture to show location.
It’s a 1984 w123 230e. I think it’s vacuum related.
Also. Power currently not plugged in and insure when / how long ago it was unplugged. Could be recent, could be a while back.
But when I do plug it in, it’s very noisy. A rapid clicking / ticking sound so am reluctant to plug it in for long u til I figure out what it is about.
