The offside wiper is not wiping, any ideas? The washer jet is fine, but the arm is not moving at all......... Though the n/s one is fine.

Hello Jib, broken up any nice CSK's? LOL. My Merc obsession got the better of me and the Rangie went to buy a GSXR1100 for commuting, and E320 coupe for polishing..... ;o)

Nice to see you are on here though. Thanks for the reply, I'll check out the motor when I pick the car up in a couple of weeks. Maybe forcing the arm round whilst it is energised will release it?

LOL, cheeky monkey. Near Bristol. I thought the car was priced right, if you pay £1k for an E320 coupe, it is going to be missing the spec and the FDSH, and probably have loads of miles on it unserviced, together with a set of AMG look-a-like wheels and hideous body kit..... I have seen them just like that. Makes me shudder it does.....

I thought the extra was worth paying for a good honest car with lots of DOCUMENTED history.

If it is original that's a good price.

It is utterly unsullied and as it was when it left the factory.

The o/s wiper arm is completely floppy. It climbs up the lamp at speed and then rests on the bumper when you stop. It is as if the driveshaft is not connected to the motor! Any ideas, or is replacement the only option here?

New motor time

You'll remember a few swear words you thought you'd forgotten as you try and remove the headlamp. The trick is to swing it around before pulling it out. I'd put some tape on the bumper & chrome trim before you start - it may stop you scratching it
