W124 220ce Can anyone identify this part?

Found in the driver footwell. Would like to return to proper home but unable to identify correct address.

It has a hole in the end for what I presume is a split pin. But can't see where it's from. Brakes, throttle, seat, steering all seem ok, so far!!

I recognise it but just cant place it....

I think it comes from the brake pedal.... TBH I am not sure.

Take it to Merc dealer, it won't cost you a penny. However prolong missing may be dangerous if it comes from the brake pedal.

It certainly looks like 92 from the diagram. I will investigate further tomorrow before I go anywhere.

It would be good to do that before you try and stop, you may find the pedal a little on the hard side

Hi Television,
Found it last night and in the dark thought it was to do with the seat. Only drove a few miles but everything seemed fine. It was only in the light day, after examining the seat that I thought it could be from elsewhere. And only when photographing it that I noticed the hole for the split pin. I was lucky.
