I have a 1989(G) 300 TE 4 matic and I have a problem with the rear diff locking up when reversing on full lock causing the rear end to judder as the LSD appears to be locked up.
Its worse on full right hand lock than left and only occassionly happens when going forwards on full lock .
Otherwise it drives OK the 4 matic light goes out on start up etc. If I move the red test lever to test position 2 so its RWD only no problem with the diff locking up.
Sometimes the Yellow ASD light illuminates at 50-70 mph but then goes out of its own accord or when the brake pedal is depressed.
The brake pedal judders when braking as if the ABS is tripping in but this only occurs just before coming to a halt and no ABS light illuminates, its just as though the ABS is oversensitive. The overall braking performance seems OK as it only trips in just before coming to a final halt.
