Hi guys
The switchable 5 speed auto box on my 1991 300CE-24 works just as it should when in 'D' drive, selecting all five forward and reverse. However, moving or stationary I cannot select bottom gear (position 2) with the gear shift, it just wont go into the last slot:x. My mechanic said the coupling to the box was A1 so it must be internal. I do trust my mechanics (Waterhouse Chelmsford). Has anybody had this problem before. I can live with it unless there is an econimical fix
It's the only thing on the car that is not 100%
