Done a quick search and nothing obvious came up - apparently my discs and pads require replacement all round...

Having never tackled ABS before, is this a DIY job or do I need to part with £550 + VAT?

I've done plenty of non ABS brake tinkering, not sure if there are issues bleeding the system etc.

Comments most appreciated..

Changing the disc and pads is no different to any other car, you will not be working near any ABS components, so do it your self, plenty of help is on hand from members here

thanks for the quick reply, in this instance I've decided to let the garage do it, they're sorting out a £72k service and cylinder head (ouch) so in for a penny.....

on the bike I tend to give the calipers a going over and change the fluid when I change pads hence the bleeding query.

Next time..

Ade (looking forward to getting the car back)..

Swopping pads is a doddle, just check any wires for sensors.
Discs are a bit more fiddly as the calipers need disturbing.
Years ago I refurbished my own calipers, but due to 'elf an' safety the seal kits are less available these days.

Just noticed an amusing typo... £72k service

Luckily its not quite that bad, but still involves a sharp intake of breath... am expecting another call today...
