Having had a drain on my battery for a while which Mercedes London NW11 coudn`t find after two separate attempts my indy`s auto electrician traced it to a live wire for the window motors caused by a damaged ECU which has been duly replaced. However now whilst my radio and aerial still operate the CD changer does not and in addition the interior lights whilst individually OK do not respond to the door switch. My question is.....are these two functions anywhere electrically connected so I have some knowledge when I take the car back to him?

Thanks in advance for any info.

What type of cd changer do you have? Is it an aftermarket unit?
Is it possible that your auto electrician switched the interior light switch to stay off when the doors are opened?

It is an aftermarket fitted a few months ago so it was working perfectly. The switch settings I`ve checked of course and are correctly set.
