    Hello,

I'm starting to save up for this car - and have begun my search. I have seen a R reg on eBay! Surely this is strange? A late registration? Any ideas?

    Best wishes,

It is possible I have a classic bike---production finished in 1979 -it stood in the dealers window 5 years before being registered for road use.

The estates coupes and cabriolets went on after the saloon. I've seen a few R reg cabriolets...they carried on the W124 until the equivalent W210/W208 was available and I think the W208 cabriolet was later than the rest
