w124 coupe door adjustment

Can anyone tell me if its possible to adust the position of a door on a 300ce (w124)? Its too high (about 5mm) at the front and low at the back. Closes ok but looks a bit odd.

The door can be adjusted by slackening the hinge bolts. Striker plate will then also require re-adjusting. To get to the bolts on the door itself it will probably be easier to disconnect the check-strap first.
