I have a W124 cooupe with the front seat belt 'hand-over' system on the front seats. 14 years of use has proven too much and now the seat belt has sawn a groove in the plastic guide on the front of the hand-over arm.

Does anyone know if I can get new ones, and can they be fitted to existing seatbelts?

Thanks!

Hi! I bought a 1995 coupe last September, and discovered the same problem on the driver's side of my car. I thought about trying to source a replacement, but then decided gaffer tape would do. It's scarcely noticeable, and it does the job. Just remember that when you put the gaffer tape on, the belt must already be fed through the triangle. Guess who forgot to do it....

I usually patch up things like this with Araldite. You could always ask the dealer, I've found plastic bits are really cheap.

Thanks everyone. I've patched it up with some 'plastic metal' rock hard glue for now, but will probably get new ones as they are so cheap.
